  • A 1970's gold coloured meal pin badge from former Czechoslovakia. The badge face is 1.4cm high and has a long, stick pin style fastener on the rear side.
  • The initials DVUZ stand for Doly Vítězného února Záluží or translated, THE MINES OF VICTORIOUS FEBRUARY in ZALUZI. 
  • Vítězný únor (Victrious February) mines were founded in 1849. One of the most productive mines in the district it was renamed to the General Svoboda Mine in 1947 and then in 1953 to the Victorious February Mine.
  • This series of pin badges names all of the pits in the victorious February region.
