- A pretty, metal pin badge from the 1940's advertising CSA with the logo that appeared around 1938 according to these timetables.
The badge face is 1.3cm wide and has a long, stick pin fastener.
Historical Background
The inaugral flight of CSA was in 1923 between Prague and Bratislava. CSA are one of the oldest airlines in the world, 4th behind QANTAS, Mexicana and KLM. They persisted through socialism and made the difficult transition from communism to a free market society that so often destroyed other socialist managed companies.
