- A 1983 metal hunting themed pin from former Czechoslovakia, it is 2.1cm high and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear. Featuring the text VLS meaning Vojenske lesy a statky it would have been worn by members of the Czech Military forestry management team.
- There have been training areas managed by the military in Czechoslovakia as far back as 1905. But after World War 2, twelve new areas were established and the VLS expanded significantly in order to maintain them.
- The VLS logo was the three pronged pine branch associated with the hunter's union with a red star and mounted onto a dagger.
