A pretty, 1971 gold coloured metal advertising pin from former Czechoslovakia, it is 1.7cm in diameter and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of FOMA in the town of Hradec Kralove who were the sole supplier of photographic film in Czechoslovakia in the socialist era.

In 1921 FOTOCHEMA Ltd. was founded in the Czechoslovak city of Hradec Kralove. It produced photographic plates and processing chemicals.
Ten years later they started producing developing paper and black-and-white film.In 1949 the company was nationalised as FOTOCHEMA and the range of products was extended further to comprise X-ray films, black-and-white positive copy film, black-and-white papers for industrial use, black-and-white reversal film, colour paper, colour negative film and colour reversal film.
The company still exists today, having survived the transition from communist to free market economies and is still a major employer in Hradec Kralove where the original company started up.
