- This is a vintage anti-fascist member stickpin from the VVN (Vereinigung der Verfolgten des Naziregimes) (Association of Persecutees of the Nazi Regime)
- Symbolism & Meaning :
- The Red Triangle: This symbol is directly derived from the inverted red triangle patch that political prisoners (such as communists, social democrats, and resistance members) were forced to wear on their clothing in Nazi concentration camps. Following World War II, survivors reclaimed the symbol as a badge of anti-fascist resistance and honor
