A pretty red coloured plastic pin featuring the head of Chairman Mao in various colours. The badge dates from the Chinese cultural revolution from 1966 until Mao's death in 1976

The badge face is 3.5cm wide and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
- The slogan reads THE EAST WIND PREVAILS OVER THE WEST WIND and on the last line CHAIRMAN MAO which is 东风压倒西风 and 毛主席 in Chinese and was repeated on many propaganda pieces.
