A pretty red coloured plastic pin featuring the head of Chairman Mao in white plastic. The badge dates from the Chinese cultural revolution that lasted from 1966 until Mao's death in 1976
The badge face is 2.8cm along the longest side and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
The slogan reads SERVE THE PEOPLE or 為人民服務 in Chinese. It was a familiar propaganda slogan and can be seen in this poster below.
