-
A pretty vintage, bronze coloured metal pin badge from former East Germany.
The badge face is 1.7cm high and has a long stick pin style fastener to the rear.
-
The National Reconstruction Work (NAW) of the GDR was founded in November 1951 and supported by the National Front for voluntary, non-profit and unpaid work, which was originally intended to implement construction projects in East Berlin and was then extended to the entire GDR.
-
In the 1960s, the NAW was replaced by the campaign Schöner unsere Städte und Gemeinden – Mach mit!
