Depicting a clenched fist and a red flag and under this, the museum name, 'The Museum of Revolutionary Struggles and Liberation in Ostrava'
- The Museum of Revolutionary Struggles and Liberation in Ostrava was opened to the public for the first time on 7 November 1962, originally only as a branch of the Silesian Museum, bearing the name Museum of Revolutionary Struggles and Building Socialism in Ostrava. In 1980, it became an independent institution renamed the Museum of Revolutionary Struggles and Liberation. It was abolished on 31 December 1990 and part of the exhibitions was transferred back to the Silesian Museum, as is the case with the memorial in Hrabyně.
