The badge face is 3.5cm wide and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
- The slogan reads LONG LIVE THE GREAT LEADER CHAIRMAN MAO ! which is 伟大的领袖毛主席万岁 in Chinese and was repeated on many propaganda pieces like the one below.
