A pretty pin badge, 2cm in diameter, made of a gold coloured metal and featuring Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin over green laurels. With a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
There was a Marx-Engels-Lenin Institute in Moscow that was a Soviet library and archive attached to the Communist Academy. It collected the works of the founders of socialism. It's name changed to the institute of Marxism-Leninism in 1956 which is most probably where this pin badge originated.
