A very pretty silver coloured metal pin badge from the former Soviet Union.
The badge face is 2.5cm high and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
It is an advertising pin badge from the 1970's for a publication called Izvestia which was an official communist newspaper of Russia up until the fall of communism in 1991.

The text on the snowman's chest reads IZVESTIA
