  • The top section appears to have a number of garnet stones set into the badge face.

  • Manufactured for the CSZ who are the Český svaz žen or Czech Women's Union and this appears to have been an award badge.

  • The award reads 'Za obětavou práci' which translates to 'For Dedicated Work''. "For Selfless/dedicated Work" was the name of the socialist award Medal for Selfless Work for Socialism, which was awarded in Czechoslovakia for dedication to work and service to the socialist regime.
