• A 1970s/80s pin badge marking a week of joint battle exercises between the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia that took place somewhere in the region of the famous Dukla pass battle of WW2.

  The badge is made from a gold coloured metal, is 2.2cm high with a long stick pin to the rear.

  This badge remembers the 1949 battle, which was the fiercest seen on Czech territory.
  The pin depicts the rock memorial that was erected after the end of the war and that still stands today.

  It is a memorial to the 500+ soldiers of the 1st Czech regiment who were killed in fierce fighting.
