The badge face is 1.5cm wide and has a long, stick pin fastener.
Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT, is the flag carrier of Poland. Based in Warsaw, LOT was established in 1929, making it one of the world's oldest airlines still in operation. This pin badge dates from the 1950's where the pin has been manually soldered to the face. You can see the logo in use on the picture of the old baggage label.
