- This is a pretty, Venera 5 pin badge featuring the orbiting space ship and the atmospheric probe. A gold coloured metal badge, the badge face is 3.2cm wide and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
- Venera 5 was launched in 1969 towards Venus to obtain atmospheric data. The spacecraft was very similar to Venera 4 although it was of a stronger design. The launch was conducted from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
