- A pretty gold coloured metal pin badge from SL M O L in former Czechoslovakia.
The badge face is 2cm in diameter and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
- It celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Silesian Foundation for Public Enlightenment. Founded originally in 1898 as the Matice osvěty lidové pro knížectví Těšínské (Foundation for Public Enlightenment for the Principality of Teschen), it was renamed after 1918 to the Slezská matice osvěty lidové (SL.M.O.L)
- Its primary goal was to fight for and protect Czech-language education, building Czech public schools, libraries, and cultural community centers in the historically contested border regions of Silesia against Germanization and Polonization
