• This is a very pretty pin badge made to advertise orlican, makers of the Orlican VSO 10 glider or sailplane. It dates from the 1970s, is 2.7cm wide and has a stick pin fastener and features the Czech national colours.

  Orlican were a Czechoslovak State run company mainly manufacturing aircraft such as the L-Series of powered light aircraft and the VSO range of gliders.

  They ceased trading in the 1990's and the aircraft type licenses were sold to various other aviation companies.
