An original, orange coloured plastic Skoda logo from former Czechoslovakia.
The badge face is 3.3cm in diameter and has a long, stick pin fastener.
- This is probably a late 1950's pin badge when the 'new' plastic material was being trialled in various badges of the 1950's

Skoda formed in 1859 as an armaments factory, produced their first Skoda branded car in 1905
Skoda produced modern cars up until the communist coup in 1948 whereupon they were largely cut off from Western markets. The 1960's onwards saw a range of production cars that were based on outdated designs.
Since the 1990's Skoda has been transformed by its partnership with VW of Germany into a very successful automotive company. Sales in 1991 were around 170 thousand new cars and in 2010 were 760 thousand.
