- A gold coloured medal 5.5cm high in total and in great condition.
- This is a Czech civilian medal issued in 1975 to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Liberation of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet Army at the end of World War II
- It features a high-relief depiction of two soldiers (a Czechoslovak partisan and a Soviet Red Army soldier) raising their arms in triumph. They are holding submachine guns and flowers, symbolizing peace and liberation.
- The reverse side carries the Slovak text "Tridsiate výročie oslobodenia Československa Sovietskou armádou" (Thirtieth anniversary of the liberation of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet Army)
