  National Defense League - an association co-operating with the Ministry of Defense, created during the Polish People's Republic as a paramilitary organization. The aim is to strengthen the defense of the Republic of Poland and a group of people ready to defend it, primarily for the needs of the army. The National Defense League in its activities is governed by the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and by law.
