A gold coloured metal, award insignia from the army of socialist Czechoslovakia the CSLA (Československá lidová armáda). The badge face reads 'Outstanding Soldier' and has a 4.1cm high badge face and a screw thread uniform style fastener to the rear.
This is the more modern version (1970's / 1980's) made from a lighter weight metal.
