- A gold coloured metal, 1992 pin badge from a skiing event that remembers the fierce fighting that took place here during WW2
The badge face is 2.8cm high and has a long stick pin style fastener to the rear.
The exercises were held in Liptovsky Mikulas, now part of Slovakia
- The battles for Liptovský Mikuláš were a series of military clashes between the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps and the Red Army on the one hand against German and Hungarian troops on the other, which took place during two months in 1945, which were the second bloodiest for the Czechoslovak soldiers after the Battle of the Dukla Pass.
