• The pin features the text Manet at the top and features the Manet logo of what looks to be an engineered part, maybe a piston head or drive shaft. The badge face is 1.5cm high and has a long stick pin fastener to the rear.

  Historical Background

  The Manet 90 was, in the 1940's and early 1950's, the most common motorbike to be found in post war Czechoslovakia. It was designed by Zbrojovka of Brno, the weapons company that changed focus to motorcycles after WW2 and manufactured in Slovakia in the city of Povazska Bystrica in the vast engineering halls of  Povazske strojarne, making it the first mass produced motorcycle to be produced in Slovakia. In total 80,000 models were manufactured, mostly with twin piston, one cylinder, two-stroke engines.
