| Product Description : LZ Nymburk Hunters Association Union Membership Large Golden Stag Antler Pin - An antique gold coloured metal hunting themed pin from former Czechoslovakia, it is 2.3cm wide and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear. Featuring the text LZ Nymburk, it would have been worn by members of the hunting union in the city of Nymburk. The LZ stands for Lesni Zkouska which is, roughly translated, Forest Group.
In Czechoslovakia and in much of middle Europe; hunting and forestry have a rich tradition stretching back hundreds of years.
Traditional hunting uniforms are still worn and age old customs observed. During the hunting season it is common to see hunting parties gathering in the early morning preparing for the daily hunt. The principal quarry are wild boars, deer, foxes, grouse and duck.
