• A pretty LIAZ advertising pin from former Czechoslovakia. The badge face is 1.3cm high and has a stick pin fastener to the rear. The pin, made in the 1970s advertises the LIAZ service centre.

  LIAZ were formed in 1951 as the Liberecke automobilove zavody (Liberec Automobile Company). Producing trucks and buses as part of the Skoda enterprise. All liaz trucks sported the Skoda logo up until the 1970's. After the collapse of the Soviet Union Liaz went bankrupt. Most of their sales were to the COMECON countries and the economic turmoil was too much for the company to endure.
