• A rare, white plastic badge with a 2.5cm wide badge face and a stick pin style fastener to the rear.

  This is a souvenier pin from the 1950's when sports aviation was in its infancy. The text 'Letu zdar' roughly translates to 'Flyers Away' but is used in the same way as 'Tally ho' is for hunters. It is a good wishes or good hunting phrase which stemmed from the early years of aviation when the excitement and glamour of flight went hand in hand.
