1989 Soviet Space Shuttle Buran Paris Air Show CCCP Pin Badge

A collectible pin badge celebrating the appearance of the Buran space shuttle at the 1989 Paris air show.

At the show, no-one was allowed to go inside or touch the Buran to disguise the fact that it was made entirely of plywood. It was the Soviet Union's first reusable spacecraft and was fully reused and converted into garden furniture in 1994.
