A pretty, Komsomol pin badge, 5cm high, made of a gold coloured metal and featuring the Komsomol logo above the picture of the battleship Aurora with a clasp style safety clasp to the rear.
It is from the 1987 70th anniversary of the October Revolution and is a Komsomol competition award.
The text on the reverse side reads "Korchaginskaya vakhta" which translates to "Korchagin's Watch" and below this "AWARD of the KIEV LKSMU"
