A pretty gold coloured metal, vintage pin from Tatra Smichov. The badge face is 2cm wide and has a stick pin fastener to the rear. The pin features the text 130th Anniversary of Tatra Smichov.
Historical Background
Tatra Smichov and CKD Transport Systems were formed in 1852 in Smichov, Prague and underwent many name changes and ownerships in their long history. They still exist today as part of the Siemens Group.
Tatra Smichov became Vagónka Tatra Smíchov in 1950, Vagonka Studenka in 1958, and then amalgamated into CKD in 1963.
