This pin was manufactured for the 1980 summer Olympics in Moscow in the former Soviet Union.
Made from a silver coloured metal. The badge face is 3.1cm wide and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear. The badge is made from a light metal, probably aluminium.
The picture displays the 1980 Olympic games motif with the Roman numerals XXII denoting the 22nd Olympics.
