  Product Description : 1980 Czechoslovak Army 60th Radio Signals Division VU 9379 Anniversary Pin Badge

  • This is a 1980 25th anniversary pin badge made from a gold coloured metal. The badge face is 2.6cm high and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear.

    The initials VU stand for Vojenska Utvar,  which means Military Unit.

    VU 9379 Unhost was stationed just outside the city of Kladno.  Established June 1, 1955 as the 60th Radio Battalion. It was reorganized on 1st September 1960 under the title VU9397 until its abolition in March 1992.

    In the years 1955 to 1969 it was the headquarters (administration) of the Signal Corps General Staff of the Czechoslovak Army, from 1969 until the end of their existence headquarters of the Western Military District in Tabor.
