• A pretty, metal pin badge from the 1970s advertising CSA in Ostrava with the block aircraft logo that appeared on other CSA marketing materials of the 1970's.

  The badge face is 2.4cm wide and has a long, stick pin fastener.

  Historical Background

  The inaugural flight of CSA was in 1923 between Prague and Bratislava. CSA are one of the oldest airlines in the world, 4th behind QANTAS, Mexicana and KLM. They persisted through socialism and made the difficult transition from communism to a free market society that so often destroyed other socialist managed companies.
