• This is an unusual 1970 parachutist memorial pin badge made from a gold coloured metal. The badge face is 2.9cm high and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear.

  It commemorates the MNICH 1945 paratrooper assault. The mission was to organise and unite resistance pockets in the vicinity of Prague. It was successful, but 10 of the original 15 parachutists were killed in action.
