- This is a very pretty 1970 Luna 16 pin badge celebrating the successful launch of the rocket. A gold coloured metal badge, the badge face is 2.3cm in diameter and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear.
Featuring a large red star and the picture depicts the probe leaving and returning to Earth again.

Luna 16 was an uncrewed 1970 space mission, part of the Soviet Luna program. It was the first robotic probe to land on the Moon and return a sample of lunar soil to Earth.
