A pretty, 1969, gold coloured metal pin badge in good condition featuring the familiar Tesla logo.
The badge face is 2cm wide and has a long stick pin style fastener to the rear.
Tesla in Jablonec nad Orlici was created on the site of Telegrafia, formed after World War I to produce the telegraph and telephone equipment and was nationalised in 1948.
The plant was rebuilt and modernized in the period 1945-1975. In 1979, the M4 production hall was completed, and a year later the M5 hall. Workers' housing was built nearby and a sports and social club.
After the fall of the USSR the plant was broken up into smaller parts, stripped of assets and left derelict.
