A pretty, 1968 pin badge made to mark the anniversary of the 1898 soccer match.

In 1898, the first challenge match between two Russian football clubs took place, marking a significant step in the development of Russian football. This match, played in St. Petersburg, was between the "Circle of Sports Lovers" and the "St. Petersburg Circle of Sportsmen". 

The badge face is 1.6cm wide and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear.
