The writing is dated 1968 and refers to the Bulgarian Rebels of Aglikina Glade Sliven
In Bulgarian history, during the Ottoman rule, this area was known as a gathering place of the rebels. Aglikina Polyana is associated with the name of the legendary Elenka Voivode and other rebels in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is mentioned in the memoirs of Panayot Hitov, in the work of Yordan Yovkov and in the haidouk folk songs. On Aglikina Polyana is held a folk gathering with singing competitions known as "Glorification of the Rebels".
