Before the second world war they produced many types of car, including the piccolo, a American style coupe and the 'Grand' limousine. Today, many of the early Pragas can be seen carrying tourists on tours around the centre of Prague.During German wartime occupation the plant produced the Panzer 38t and after the war the company came under communist rule and production was focused on trucks, much needed for postwar renewal tasks.
The most famous of which were the V3S (3 ton) and the S5T (5 ton), the former having an astounding 40 year production run.
