A pretty, communist youth pin badge with a 2.6cm high badge face, made of a gold coloured metal with a long stick pin style fastener to the rear.
This is a vintage pin badge, made in 1965 for the 9th international ascent of Rysy, a peak in the Tatra mountain range. The mountain lies on the Polish-Czech border and was the focus of an annual youth meeting.
As it was 1965, it also celebrates the 20th anniversary of Czechoslovakia.
