- Featuring the text 20. VÝROČIE SNP" (20th Anniversary of the SNP) – the Slovak National Uprising (Slovenské národné povstanie), a major anti-Nazi resistance movement launched in August 19
- The pin combines national pride, nature, and political commemoration. During the communist era in Czechoslovakia, mass group ascents of Mount Kriváň were organized as annual patriotic events. In 1964, a massive, milestone hike was organized to mark exactly 20 years since the partisan uprising of 1944. Participants who successfully made the steep climb to the summit were awarded this souvenir stickpin.
