A pretty silver coloured metal pin badge, made in Czechoslovakia with a 2.4cm wide badge face and a long stick pin style fastener to the rear.
Featuring the Cuban and Czech national flags with the dove of peace.
The pin was manufactured following the Cuban revolution of 1959 and advertises a trade show in Prague that would cement bilateral trade deals with the newly formed nation of Cuba.
Interestingly, Czechoslovakia was very much seen, by the Soviet Union, as the entry point for Cuba into trade relations with the Warsaw Pact nations. Czech military advisors had been sent to Cuba following the Bay of Pigs incident and Cuban air force pilots were being trained in Czechoslovakia.
