A gold coloured metal, pin badge advertising CSA or Czech airlines and featuring the Ilyushin IL-18 that entered service for CSA in 1960.

The badge face is 1.7cm wide and has a long, stick pin fastener.

The IL-18 was a great success for Ilyushin. First entering service for Aeroflot in 1957 it became hugely popular and was exported to over 25 nations.
It was economical, adaptable and could operate very long distances without the need to refuel.
It was the diplomatic plane of choice thanks to the fact it could be retrofitted with a luxury interior and won the grand prize at the 1958 Worlds Fair (EXPO'58).
