• A rare 1959 May day and nuclear war themed pin badge produced by East Germany in this year to mark May day.

  The badge face is 3.5cm high and has a safety clasp style fastener to the rear. The badge itself is made from a gold coloured metal, has a safety clasp fastener and features a red hammer smashing a big black bomb and the text 1st May 1959.
