• A gold coloured metal pin badge from the 1950's. Featuring a white dove and a red cross and the text Vzorny Darce Krve meaning 'Excellent gifts of Blood'. This pin would have been awarded to regular blood donors that had given blood on numerous occasions.

  The badge face is 1.7cm high and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear.

  The Czechoslovak Red Cross was formed in 1919 and became the CSCK (Czechoslovak State Cerveny (red) Kriz (cross) under socialism. Today it is the CCK (no longer a socialist state run organisation)
