  • A 1937 gold coloured, metal badge 3.5cm high with a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear. Featuring the head of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, first president of Czechoslovakia. I have one pin with the Polish flag and one with the Czech flag. Poland gained independence in 1918 and 19 years later the sense of nation was very strong. The Polish legions were represented at the military meetings.
  • The pin badge marks the 3rd Manifesto meeting of the Czech Legions. The Czech Legionnaires were founded in 1921 in the aftermath of WW1. They were an amalgamation of various battle groups and were instrumental in the 1918 foundation of the Czechoslovak 1st Republic.
  • The 3rd meeting was to be the last before German invasion in 1938
