- This is a very rare red plastic pin badge from the 1935 May Day celebrations in former Czechoslovakia. One I haven't come across before.
- The badge has a stick pin style fastener and is 1.7cm wide.
- Featuring a fist grasping the pole of a red Russian flag and the date I.V.1935
- May day parades are still held to this day in The Czech Republic, they have always been based around the welcoming of springtime after the long, cold winter. Typically youth groups and fraternal organisations would parade down the streets along a specified route. Trade unions and the military would also march the route bearing banners and flags and to this day it is quite a spectacle.
