The badge face is 2cm wide and the reverse side has a long, stick pin style fastener. You will notice that the badge features the flag of the Viet Cong. The Vietnam war had just ended in 1975 and this mayday badge celebrates the victory of the North over the Southern and American armed Forces. \u003cp\u003e Mayday parades are still held to this day in The Czech Republic, they have always been based around the welcoming of springtime after the long, cold winter. Typically youth groups and fraternal organisations would parade down the streets along a specified route.
